Must I go on?

My throat certainly doesn't want to.
I slept like an insomniac last night..meaning, I didn't really sleep.
This had been my savior the last 2 days.
This has been my best friend.
This has comforted me a bit..
And Sydney  has made my day.
Oh, did you notice? Yes, another re-do on the blog.
I like. Thank you, Sydney:)
But right now, all I feel like doing is staring at the wall.
I wrote an about me.
I'm sure once I am feeling like myself again I'll come back, read it and be like "why did I say that?!?!" and edit is like nobody's business.. But for now its a bit to long, a bit to informative, and, yeh... Lemme know what you think!
My mind isn't working right, folks..neither is my throat..or nose.

ps
my juice is gone..can I cry now???

Simplicity

So, I must confess..
I've been caught up every day this week reading some very loverly blogs.
Most of these blogs are written by adorable *homeschooled* girls under 17.
This is me.
Homeschooled. 17. I'm always happy to find more blogs like this.
I love these blogs!
I wish I could have them in book form and sit on my comfy corduroy couch and read alll of them!
The authors of these blogs are very inspiring to me.
Their photo's (and camera's) are quite beautiful.
I'm an official follower of them.
Here they are..

In case you haven't noticed, I've also re-done my blog.. *again*!!
My reason this time was because I wanted it to be more simple.
It seems like every blog I've been on has so many different thing's to click that take you to all sorts of fun stuff. I'm not dedicated enough to figuring out how to do all this. I'm not even interested enough to put up my Etsy shop on the side bar..Maybe I should figure that one out tho..
But I want my blog to be very simple.
I want to write.
I want people to be inspired by something I might say.
I want simplicity.
The less stuff that is on my blog, the happier it makes me.
The more I feel people can focus on the pictures and words.

But don't be surprised if my banner gets changes again ;)

The playlist on the bottom of inspire a spark is playing very nice music<3

Bits and pieces

Of a sickly rainy Wednesday..

#4doodle- Draw your favorite quote- I have to many, so I chose my most recent one:)

Everyday there's something nice to see, do and feel.
Even if they're hard to find, they are there!
Just ignore the rain, ignore the sore throat, ignore dreariness<3

It snowed yesterday, a good 2 inches. I woke up this morning and had to go to the Dr. and by the time I got back, it was all melted:(
Glad I went out while the sky was spilling out snow flakes a quarter size around!

Ahh, winter. I love you...sometimes...
I also love my adorable beagle, and my flower house coat which does its duty wonderfully when I don't want to put on a snow suit, (plus the dorky hat) and the horse, Ellie, and..
Well, I feel something for the 1yr old cow named Agnes who forgets she's a cow and still wants a bottle, but I wouldn't call it love.
I dunno what I'd call it.
A mixture between fondness and hate.
Yep.

Before I forget, here's my doodle#3- Something I love. (note, I'm not in the mood to draw, I feel sickly-ish and I just wanna make more flowers and read)
I'll probably be using this for the next doodle too(#4 draw you favorite quote)...unless I get creative and Google something said by Samuel Adams or Elizabeth Elliot.

Right now

Right now I am:
-Reading, studying what God's showing me, writing my thoughts and learning how to apply God's word more and more to my life. Also lifting up prayers of thanks, wanderings and dreams to Him.

-Finally starting my quilt, first I use scrap material to make the first block, tomorrow I'll start with the read thing! Its for an art contest at our local college, I'm also working on ideas for other artys things worthy enough to go in the contest.

-Reading 5,000 Year Leap: The Miracle That Saved The World, a MUST read for anyone who wants to know more about the founding fathers of America, what they believed, how they set up our government, all about God's Natural Laws, what it takes to keep America great, what they predicted would happen if we fell short of the type of people that they designed the government for, and just plain ole' interesting history! Its easy to read, not at all boring like most history books, and its content is stuff that all of us need to know:) Plus tons of awesome quotes from people like Samuel Adams (who is possibly my favorite) Tom Jefferson, Ben Franklin and many more. Oh yeh, and it goes into a lot  of Cicero's stuff too, that was pretty interesting!

-Making more an more flowers (I'm starting to get "oh those r awesome!"'s from friends!)

-Closing my eyes every chance I can get, I feel like a 50 pound weight is on top of my head, inside my ears and under my lids.. sigh..NO grumbling tho! I refuse (its my weekly challenge, no grumbling)

-Looking out the window at the little snow thats been falling all morning, right now its falling rather hard. I love snow!

-Working on my blankey while getting my dose of good discussions, laughs, current times and information (Glenn Beck radio show! I know, I'm a wacky teen who actually cares about my country and wants to know what is going on)

-Thanking God that my awesome pastor and his family are back from CA and that I got to spend time with them yesterday! I'm incredibly blessed to have them in my life, my pastor is such a great guy who loves the Lord so much. Just to be able to see how he's living his life following God is always encouraging.  I know alot of peeps prolly say that bout their pastor, but mine..well he's just awesome ;)
Then his wife, my friend Lucinda, she's a great mom, a great example to me and a good friend, she's awesome too! And of course their two sons, Nathaniel and Baby Luke, I loves them !

ps.

More snow!!

People are fascinating

I'm feeling like writing a "get to know me better post" or a "I gotta clear my thoughts" post. So here it goes!

From a strangers point of view, they wouldn't see the very zealous and passionate side of me, cos honestly, I don't let it show to strangers..I don't know how.
God has made me a passionate and zealous person, someone who sometimes, I'm sure is overly zealous about stuff...
"Reel it in".
I'm the type of person (who for one, is a little overly observant) who has strong barriers. I'm a very private person when it comes to...*feelings* and real life relationships. Ugh, sometimes I hate mushy feelings. But heck, I'm a girl so I have to learn to deal with it, right?
Just embrace it!. hehehe..
I think its hilarious how men are all, "its impossibly to really know a woman", cos I know its so not true, its very possible, if  a woman knows who they are.
Just takes patience ;)

I find it funny that here I can let absolute strangers know sides of me that people I've known for 5yrs or more haven't really seen.

But everything is different in real life.

I have to know someone for a looong time in order to really let them in to who I really am, its a long process.
It takes a lot of me just being around them, then it starts with one on one conversations that have to take place in comfortable settings, I have to be able to sense that I can trust the person, but once that is over, everything takes place quickly, if that makes sense...
And even if I do know someone for a long time, it still doesn't mean they really know me or I them.
Which in a way makes me sad..

Everything takes time.

Sometimes I wish I were the type of person who was very open about everything, was friends with everyone and didn't mine saying words like "I love you and think your awesome" *out loud*.
But I'm not.
I guess I'm more of an introverted personality when it comes to getting to know people intimately.
But I'm a work in process, God works with me in a lot of areas,  its exciting to grow.
Its scary to let go of pride, but once I do, everything feels lighter.

I'm a shy girl, but I have a lot to say.
And I don't think many people I know realize how much I have to say.
There are people who I want *them to know me.*
But the chance never comes to let them know me, and frankly, its annoying.

I can count my true and close friends on one hand.
I'd like to add my other hand, but if its not the Lords will, then I'm ok with that.
Right now my other hand is filled with people I know, people I can hang out with and just get more at ease with, people who I won't really get to know, but only how to play around and have fun with.
Once someone has made it on my first hand, they rarely get taken off.

I truly find people fascinating. I love learning to understand all types of different personalities.

I like this quote.

Life is like a box of crayons.
You use your favorites all the time.
But there might be one you don't use..
Like pink.
Its soft and romantic, everything a graceful princess should be.
But you have to use it.
Using colors your not used to can be scary, but once you get used to it, you realize you've secretly using that color your whole life.

I realize this is a post that you probably won't know how to respond too..
So if you feel like commenting, how bout  ya just let me know you understand, or heck..that you read it! <3

:DDDDDD- I'm good at it.

I think I'm having to much fun with painting stuff..
Here is another shirt I just did today! I love it alot more than the other, because for one, the tan shirt is one of my most fave. comfty shirts to wear, and then with this added design, its just to amazing now! ;)

I am thrilled that this paint job turned out so much better than the last one. It has to do with what type of material the shirt is...
Right now this shirt is in the washer xD
I'm always very impatient about my projects. I'm the type of crafter who loves projects that can be started in one day and then finished.
And since I really rushed the painting and drying of this one, I think I'll be able to whip out a t-shirt a day!! IF the material is right.. ;)
I'm gonna hopefully make one for my brother next:)
Maybe he'll advertize for me at college, hehe, I'd love to sell some shirts!

Painted shirt- cos thats the most creative title I can come up with.

So, I love painting things, nails, shirts, faces, paper, just about anything that I think needs covered in paint.
Yesterday I was in the mood to paint a shirt, so I got on Etsy and found this dude who does the neatest designs, and I stole an idea and made it my own, and wah-laa!!
A shirt of epic proportions.

Always..

I'm not going to promise myself that I get to see him tomorrow, because he may be to wiped out after spending 2 months in CA and then driving back with his family to MO.
But if not tomorow, then Sunday...
I get to see Nathaniel, catch him as he jumps into my arms..
I get to hug my little man and give him kisses and hear him say my name and tell him I missed him sooo much.
I get to say "Baby Luke, where's your belly button?!" and see his adorable baby brother show off proudly his belly button, I get to be with my boys once again.
I'm a little bit attached to these boys who aren't even relatives of mine, but it doesn't matter if the same blood runs through our veins or not, we certainly have a special connection and I love them a ton.
I can't wait..<3

<3 <3 <3 Nathaniel himself about 10 months ago<3 <3 <3
