Busy Busy Busy!

Hello! Soo....This week I have really gotten alot done! I love weeks like this!!! Below is my bubble gum machine. I absolutly love this thing, but after I painted my room and bed, I decided, it needed some paint to. The red just wasnt right somehow, maybe it was that I had a yellow wall...and I HATE red and yellow together. It reminds me of mustard and ketchup, and McDonalds..eww.....So I went to wally world looking for a baby blue, but they only had a primary blue. So I got this blue ocean breeze color instead. I wonder who comes up with all these names for paint? Like mellow yellow, peachy palmegranate, and such. I think I would be pretty good at it ;)

Thursday my Dad put up the shelf he made me Wednesday. I am very gratful to him for it. I have wanted a shelf for quiet awhile now.

It looks sooo good! It took my awhile to figure out how I wanted the books on top. But I finaly got it. I desperately need some books ends. VERY badly! I am so afraid of them all topling over me at night. These are some of my favorite books. I have read just about all of them. I'm a wierdy for books!

I also painted this wall yesterday, if it was not for the white wall it corners with, you couldn't really tell it was grey. I love gray. I did this several years ago when I was like 12, and I finaly found a spot for it! For a long time it didnt belong anywhere, but finaly it has a proper home. It pulls perfectly from the blue-ish green bubble gum machine, and my polka dot blanket on my bed.

Did I ever mention I collect river glass? And peices of pottery as well? Yeah, someday I plan to have enough to make a huge mosaic. I have a while to go yet, and I've been collecting for about 3 years. I normaly do best in the winter, cuz thats when its safe to go to the river without getting snake bit. I just love the turquoise peices, they are my favorite, of course :)

Today I plan to start on my quilt.I should realy spend some time outside today also, its soo nice out! I just LOVE fall!!!!! And hey, who knows, maybe I might even get some sketching done today! Have a great weekend everyone :)
