To be honest, I've not been in the christmasy spirit lately. Not that I've been scroodgy, I just havent felt Festivy at all. Not even thanksgiving felt like an old memory of thanksgivings past, which they typically do.
But then...*drum roll*...Behold, the Valencia Tree.
But after reading numerous facebook stats and blog updates about all the holiday stuff that everyone's loving, I felt like I was missing out.
So without further adue, I sent brother back to bring the tree in, and me and mom commenced to putting it up.
It not a fancy tree, some think its tacky I'm sure. But its simple, country, cozy and cute.
I like it.

I was feeling festive last night. For the first time, I bought a fresh garland of fir branches for our stair railing. After wrestling with it all evening and then vacuuming all the needles it lost, I wasn't feeling so festive! I'll be buying a fake one when everything goes on sale after Christmas!

ReplyDeleteI absolutely adore Christmas and cannot wait for it to come!! (: But I'm sure that has absolutely nothing to do with the fact that it also means this semester is over and I get a break from studying. lol
