the little book

song of the day- Clarity by John Mayer

this little book is very dear to me, i love filling its pages with little bits of lovely and thumbing through it wondering what will happen in it next. i love how the sides of the pages are stained and wrinkly. i love how the leather is starting to show signs of wear. i love how it smells and the texture of the paper. this little book has taught me patience. because i want to see it filled completely. but that takes time.
but i know it'll be a bit sad when its filled. but a really nice sort of sad.
this little book excites me, because someday it'll be filled with all sorts of memories that i don't know about yet.
this little book give me satisfaction.

do you have a favorite page?

  2. You are so Crazy good and Creative!!! Ahhh. i can't handle it. I have a few favorites actually! The
one where it says art should comfort the disturbed and disturb the comfortable... i don't know. I just like it. :) And the Wonderful Them one...the pictures, the words, perfection. I love the one with bits of map pieces. And also, the I wanna Be here when the Lightning Strikes. That just seems powerful and moving to me. All in all, i love it ALL

    1. Awe! Thank you! That means a lot.
I didn't make up the disturbing the comfortable saying, saw it on pinterest and fell in love with it:D And the lighting strikes one are lyrics from a Coldplay song, 'Us Against The Wolrd', amazing song. :)))

  3. The second last picture... is that the title for the song "Keep on the Sunny Side of Life" by Ada Blenkhorn and J. Howard Entisle? Cause that's incredible if it is. Just last night, Mum and I were browsing through old song books and came across this song. She sang part of it to me and wondered if I knew it. I had never heard it before, but the very next day it stares at me from a picture in your blog!

  6. Beautious. Just simply beautious. Wow. I LOVE the lightning strike quote. I haven't heard that coldplay song, I'll have to look it up. Pretty much all of those pages were awesome. I love all the quotes, of course. ;) And the map page was gorgeous. I have that exact book, but it is just for jotting notes down in when I am in the car or out of home. I keep it in my purse. It is handy and beautiful. I am rather fond of it. :D
